Meet Tabitha

I work with you to design a tailored counseling plan around your unique counseling goals, incorporating faith-based/ Biblical counseling when desired. All counseling begins with an in-depth intake as I strongly believe that our previous experiences can have great influence over our present lives. Having context can be of great help to me as your therapist.

COUPLES — Married | Engaged | Dating

Are you and your partner seeking to repair your emotional connection and build a deeper understanding of one another? Perhaps you notice patterns—reactions or behaviors—that contribute to conflict, but you’re unsure how to break free from them. Whether you’re married, engaged, or somewhere in between, I work with couples to explore the emotional cycles that keep them stuck. Together, we’ll identify what drives disconnection and develop practical tools to communicate in ways that make both partners feel truly seen, heard, and valued. My goal is to help you create meaningful, lasting change—so your relationship not only heals, but thrives for years to come.

INDIVIDUALS –Adults: Men | Women

Individuals seeking therapy often work with me to help improve their functioning in their role within their families (Husband/ Dad, Mom/ Wife, etc.). Life can become overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. You are capable of healing and having the amazing life you picture for yourself. I help people just like you identify deeper hurts and learn how to respond to them in a healthy way through emotional regulation and healing attachment wounds from your past.

OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER (OCD) –Individuals | Couples | Families

For those struggling with OCD, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space. I understand that OCD often feels like an overwhelming disorder, but I don’t believe it’s a “crazy” condition—just a misunderstood one. I specialize in Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT), a unique modality that views OCD not as an anxiety disorder but as a doubting disorder, targeting the core beliefs about who you are.

Unlike traditional exposure therapy (ERP), ICBT helps individuals understand the deeper impact OCD has on their identity and guides you through reclaiming control. If you’re looking for an alternative to ERP, I encourage you to reach out to learn more about this powerful approach. I typically work with adults, but teens and younger clients may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Combining my training in marriage and family therapy with my specialized knowledge of OCD, I offer a distinctive therapy experience for couples where one or both partners are affected by OCD. This integrated approach addresses the dynamics between partners and helps both understand how OCD impacts their relationship.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” Psalm 34:18
