Meet Ashley
We all have a story that deserves to be engaged and honored. It would be my privilege to walk alongside you as you take the courageous step into the journey of counseling. You and your heart deserve it.
As you begin this journey, my intention is to stand with you and assist you in finding healthy ways to heal from past or current life struggles. The focus of our time together will remain on your goals and what you hope to gain from your counseling experience. It is important to me to provide a safe space where you feel seen, respected, and heard. If your faith and spirituality is valuable to you, we can incorporate it into the therapeutic space as well.
INDIVIDUALS: 16 + years old
Together we will journey through your story at a pace you set. I use a person-centered approach while utilizing components from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Narrative Therapy. It is important for you to know there is no agenda on my end when you come in for therapy. Our work together will be uniquely and purposefully designed to be focused on you and your goals. We will collaborate as we tend to you, your story, and your healing journey.
EATING DISORDER RECOVERY:
Eating disorders and the foundation for them is often misunderstood. I approach eating disorder recovery with compassion and story focused healing. Supporting my clients in healing their relationship with food or body image struggles is an immense passion and honor.
ABOUT ME:
I am a proud wife of 17 years to Gabe and mother of three active children, ages 15, 13, and 11. My husband is also a licensed counselor, specializing in men’s issues and couple’s counseling. As a family we love to spend time in the outdoors; skiing, hiking, or simply throwing the football in the backyard. We are currently in the “uber” season of parenting; driving our kids to their various activities, embracing it as they are growing up quickly. You will frequently find us enjoying one of our favorites, Chipotle.
