Hi, my name is Kylie! I’m so glad you’re here. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to ask for help, and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to do so. My hope is that together, we can begin to recognize the patterns, beliefs, and stories that may be keeping you stuck, so you can move toward a place of deeper freedom and healing in your life.
I really enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, and women who are struggling with disordered eating and body image issues, perfectionism, anxiety, depression, and challenges related to self-worth and emotional regulation. I am also happy to incorporate faith and spirituality into the counseling process if you would like!
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, nonjudgmental, and strengths-based. I draw from several frameworks including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered therapy, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing. My hope is to create a safe space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from Dallas Baptist University and am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. My background includes both personal experience in recovery and professional experience working in a residential program for women and children, where I supported families as they moved toward holistic healing and lasting change.
If you feel I may be a good fit, I would be so honored to walk alongside you in your healing journey!
